Bangkok.- An Air India plane carrying 156 passengers and 8 crew members from Phuket to New Delhi had to return and make an emergency landing on the Thai island after a bomb threat, according to airport authorities, who found no explosives in their inspections.
Phuket's tourist airport received a notification at 9:30 local time (2:30 GMT) that the pilot of flight AI 379 had found "a bomb threat message" when the aircraft was in the air, the airfield said via a Facebook statement.
