SANTO DOMINGO, The San Carlos club won the regular season of group A by defeating Huellas del Siglo, 73-58, in the closing match of this Friday's TBS Distrito 2025, at the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Palace of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
The TBS District 2025 will have the last Sunday day of the regular season, where several classifications can be defined in its 18th overall activity, out of a total of 20 days. At 4:00 PM, Bameso and El Millón will play, and at 6:00 PM, Rafael Barias against San Carlos.

The Sancarleños become the first team in the entire TBS District with seven wins (their last five consecutive) and two losses, winning the regular season and qualifying for the Elimination Phase - which gives three places - leaving the situation between Mauricio Báez (5-4), Los Prados (4-5) and Huellas del Siglo (3-6) still with aspirations for the remaining two places in group A. Each group, A and B, grants three spots to the Elimination Phase, and they carry over their same record obtained in the regular round. Sancarle's reinforcement Tyran De Latibeaudiere scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Eddy Polanco 16, JJ Romer achieved a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Luis David Montero scored 10. By the combined efforts of Cristo Rey, the imported Emmanuel Egbuta achieved double figures with 17 units and 11 rebounds, Anphernee Acevedo was able to score 15 points and the also reinforced Jeff Newberry 10. The TBS District 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), chaired by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is headed by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency. This year's contest is dedicated to the Dominican Sports Immortal Evaristo Pérez, former member of the national basketball team and former player of the San Carlos squad.
