Cucurella felt discomfort last Tuesday during the 2-2 draw against Leeds United and was substituted at halftime. After undergoing medical tests this Thursday, the muscle ailment was confirmed, which prevented him from participating in Chelsea's victory against Hull City (0-4) in the FA Cup. The coach of the London team, Liam Rosenior, explained after the match that the player has "a hamstring problem", although he initially avoided specifying the estimated recovery time.
