Marileidy Paulino praises Alberto Rodríguez's work for Dominican youth

Santo Domingo. – The Olympic and world champion in the 400-meter dash, Marileidy Paulino, expressed her gratitude to the people and institutions that have contributed to her successful sporting career, with special recognition to the executive director of the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), Alberto Rodríguez, for his commitment to the training of Dominican youth through sports and education. “We must be an example and prepare the future generation, as Alberto Rodriguez is doing, starting with education”, Paulino highlighted, while thanking everyone who has been part of his professional and personal growth. The athlete highlighted that every step in her career has been possible thanks to the support received:
“All of them are part of every step that God and life are allowing me to climb in this world of the 400 meters”, she expressed with emotion.

In a message full of gratitude, Paulino also valued the support of the Dominican people and his international followers.
“Thank you to all Dominicans and to the followers around the world who have filled me with love and encouragement in every competition”, he stated.

Likewise, he urged the authorities and society to protect active athletes and pay tribute to those who have retired, remembering their contribution to the country.
