The Dominican airline will be represented by Herman Schumacher VP of safety and quality
The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA), announced the appointment of Herman Schumacher, Vice President of Safety and Quality Operations at Arajet, as the Co-Chairman of the safety and flight operations committee. The designation, which was made on the basis of Schumacher's outstanding work and career, was announced in the framework of the preparations for the ALTA Aviation Safety, Flight Ops & Training Summit, one of the main operational safety meetings in the region.Each year, during this important event, ALTA formally introduces the new leaders who will take on the commitment to guide the collaborative work of this technical committee, which aims to identify and mitigate the main risks faced by air operations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
ALTA leadership valued Schumacher as an outstanding professional in the aeronautical sector, recognizing his solid career, his exceptional leadership skills and his commitment to the development of a safer and more modern regional aviation. The Committee meets in person during the annual Summit and holds periodic meetings throughout the year, allowing for continuous and collaborative work among the operational leaders of the region's air industry. With this new designation, ALTA renews its commitment to operational excellence, safety, and teamwork as essential pillars for the development of air transport in Latin America and the Caribbean.
