Santo Domingo. – The Banreservas Volunteer Program brought joy to dozens of children from the Movearte School, in the Ozama River Dike, during its traditional Christmas Party, an activity that was carried out simultaneously with a massive operation of the environmental program “Life for the Ozama”.
The event was led by the president of Voluntariado Banreservas, Dr. Carmen Alicia Quijano de Aguilera, accompanied by the executive president of Banco de Reservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, and Bishop Manuel Ruiz, founder of the educational center.
During the meeting, the president of the Volunteer group highlighted the importance of accompanying the community during the Christmas season and reiterated the institution's commitment to promoting values of solidarity and faith. The representatives of the Bank toured the school facilities, where they shared with the children, visited classrooms and delivered toys.

The celebration included traditional games, artistic presentations, face painting, and a special toast, activities that maintained a festive atmosphere for the students and their families. In parallel, the Banreservas Volunteer Program developed the "Life for the Ozama" operation, which benefited more than 1,000 residents of areas adjacent to the river. Participants exchanged plastics for food rations from the basic basket. A total of 713 rations were distributed and 8,400 pounds of plastic were collected, as part of the actions to promote environmental sanitation in the area.
