Spain. - The delegation of the Banco BHD, chaired by Steven Puig, president of the financial institution, arrived in Madrid, Spain, to execute a preliminary agenda of more than fifty activities that include business meetings, announcements of agreements and the realization of the BHD Tourism and Investment Forum, among others.
"Dominican tourism is projected to the world through dialogue, strategy, communication and collaboration. This is why every year we have a presence at Fitur and hold the BHD Tourism and Investment Forum, which this time reaches its third edition, with the aim of strengthening the country's competitiveness and generating new opportunities for the development of the tourism sector," Puig affirmed.
In the third BHD Tourism and Investment Forum, five experts will develop the topic "Tourism Trends in the Caribbean. Beyond coastal tourism", moderated by the renowned economist Jacqueline Mora, Vice Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic.

The BHD Tourism and Investment Forum is the only Dominican event within the framework of Fitur that provides specialized content on the tourism sector. The BHD delegation is made up of the Corporate and Business Banking team from the financial institution and other executives from the Bank and the BHD Financial Center. From Corporate and Business Banking, Guillermo Méndez, its executive vice president; Ariel Pérez, vice president of Tourism and Related Services; Rosa Romero, vice president of Structured Finance; Andrés Abbott, second vice president of Tourism and Related Services, and Michael Caraballo, second vice president of Structured Finance. In addition, Josefina Navarro, senior vice president of Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility of Banco BHD.
