Bonao recognizes Nelson de la Olla as a Meritorious Son for his 25-year artistic career

Bonao, Monseñor Nouel. — On a night filled with emotion, music, and local pride, the Honorable City Council of Bonao, headed by Mayor Eberto Núñez and the Council of Regidores, granted a significant recognition to the outstanding artist Nelson Mendoza Batista, declaring him a Meritorious Son of the municipality, within the framework of the celebration of his 25-year artistic career. The event took place at the renowned Leyasu 048 nightclub, where hundreds of people gathered in a festive atmosphere that brought together fans, authorities, and representatives from different provinces of the country.

During the activity, Nelson de la Olla expressed his gratitude to the council and the people of Bonao, highlighting the sentimental value that this recognition represents for him and his family. “Thanks to the honorable city council, the mayor, and all the councilors for this honor that I receive with humility on behalf of my family and all my people”, the artist stated.

The celebration featured the participation of important figures of Dominican music such as Héctor Acosta, Kinito Méndez, Pochy Familia and Peña Suazo, who joined the artistic party that kept the audience enjoying a full house.

The event not only highlighted Nelson's career as a singer and songwriter, but also demonstrated the support of his people, who gathered en masse to celebrate this important achievement with him.
