Signal. — The South Korean band BTS confirmed their musical comeback and announced their world tour for 2026, marking the end of almost four years of hiatus due to the mandatory military service of its members.
The group's agency, BigHit Music, announced that BTS will release a new album on March 20, 2026, the first as a septet since 2022, when they released the anthology "Proof."
The announcement coincided with the start of the year and was anticipated through handwritten letters that the seven members sent to their fans, known as ARMY, in which they expressed their gratitude for the wait and shared the comeback date.
The group also celebrated the New Year with a live broadcast, in which they reflected on their journey and expressed their enthusiasm for working together again.
