The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Thursday, March 26, 2026, as follows:
In banking institutions, the average rate for the sale of the dollar stood at RD$61.07, representing an appreciation of the peso of 0.59%. For its part, the purchase rate was set at RD$58.15, reflecting a strengthening of the local currency of 1.10% in just 24 hours.
The change agent sector also recorded significant movements. The selling rate closed at RD60.85, while the buying rate was at RD$58.83.
In this segment, the appreciation of the peso compared to March 24th was 0.88% in sales and a notable 1.99% in purchases.
