Santo Domingo. – The Minister of Housing and Buildings, Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, assured that the works for the adaptation and renovation of the sports infrastructures destined for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 are progressing with a constant flow of resources and under a "transparent, effective and technically adequate" management.
Bisonó explained that the construction and renovation process is carried out with the accompaniment not only of engineers and technicians in the area of sports infrastructure, but also with international monitoring, because the Games demand standards and certifications.
"These are going to be Games where not only the infrastructure has to be certified, but also those who are going to compete in them," said the official during the meeting with the press.
