Jumbo has collaborated with more than 20 Dominican designers.
Santo Domingo.- Jumbo presented “Caracol, its first collaboration with the renowned Dominican creator Maylé Vásquez. This exclusive collection for Moda Jumbo celebrates femininity in all its stages and reaffirms the brand's mission to exalt Dominican fashion, within everyone's reach.
The "Caracol" collection stands out for its timeless elegance, versatility, and the characteristic mark of Maylé Vásquez, who has more than ten years of experience in local design. True to her style, the designer incorporates in this proposal her most emblematic elements —the ties or wraps and the studs— reinterpreting them in pieces designed to accompany women in every stage of their lives. The creative process took two years and was developed collaboratively between the designer and the Textil team of Centro Cuesta Nacional. According to Cuadra, vice president of Textil at CCN, the goal was to combine timelessness, versatility and that special touch that women seek when dressing and combine it with the emblematic characteristics of Maylé's pieces."From its beginnings, Jumbo has always promoted Dominican talent, especially in the fashion industry. This event is part of the De Aquí Con Corazón program, an initiative that reaffirms Jumbo's vision of promoting creativity and offering fashion with Dominican identity," said Madelyn Martínez Moya, Vice President of Marketing and Financial Retail at CCN.

"Caracol" is composed of pieces that reflect the designer's hallmarks. Studs are seen on blouses, t-shirts, and classic pants in white, black, and pastel blue, including an option for mother and daughter. Ties or the iconic wrap style are presented in beige, sand, light blue, and white tones, with blouses, wide-leg pants, and t-shirts that allow for multiple ways of wearing. Meanwhile, fringes become the protagonists of the most festive pieces, in wine red, white, and cream tones, providing dynamism, movement, and authenticity. The proposal includes light and fresh textiles, ideal for the Caribbean climate, carefully selected to maintain quality and comfort. Its color palette is inspired by the Dominican coastal landscapes and the snail as a symbol of evolution and cyclical life. Neutral tones such as white, black, beige, and light blue predominate: combinable and durable colors that reinforce the idea of essential pieces for the "wardrobe basics.""They are pieces with fluid silhouettes, bows and volume, designed to stay in the closet for many years," she highlighted.
