Miami. – Colombian phenomenon KRIS R begins the year with the release of his new single, “Ganas”, a song that reveals a more intimate and romantic dimension of the artist, without leaving aside the trap essence that has defined his sound. Raw, emotional and deeply personal, “Ganas” captures the vulnerability of love, regret and longing, with the unmistakable intensity that has made Kris R one of the most captivating voices in Colombia. Built around confessional lyrics and melodic tension, "Ganas" showcases Kris R's emotional range and growth as a narrator. Verses like "I wanted everything with you / you used me as a rag" and "In another life you're going to have to love me" underscore the song's honesty, marking a powerful contrast to his more raw and streetwise catalog, while expanding his artistic depth. The release comes at a crucial moment in the career of Kris R, who has received his first nomination for the 38th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro. He is nominated in the category of Best Trap/Hip Hop Song – Urban for “Yogurcito Remix”, along with Blessd, Anuel AA, Yan Block, Luar La L and Roa. The ceremony will take place on February 19 in Miami, Florida, and will be broadcast live on the Televisa Univisión network. Voting is open until January 26.
