Santo Domingo. -The international gastronomic platform Macarfi reaffirmed its commitment to Dominican cuisine with the celebration of its second gala in the country, an event that brought together key figures from the culinary, business, and tourism sectors.
During the evening, held at the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo, the Macarfi Dominican Republic 2026 Guide was officially presented, highlighting the best-rated restaurants in six provinces: Santo Domingo, Santiago, La Altagracia, La Vega, Puerto Plata, and Samaná. The initiative recognizes the so-called "Top 10" of each demarcation, thus consolidating the country's positioning as a growing gastronomic destination with international projection. The event was attended by Macarfi Dominican Republic executives, including Franklin Lithgow, Luis Ros, Luis Manuel León, Franklin León, Antonio Alma, Antonio Ramírez, Helbert Stern and Luis Andrés Cordero.
