Man's body found with hands tied in Carolina

Puerto Rico. - Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body found on the afternoon of this Monday in the yard of a residence located at kilometer 3.3 of the PR-848 road, in the Saint Just neighborhood, in the municipality of Carolina. According to the preliminary report, the body was located around 1:15 p.m. and presented hands allegedly tied with the laces of some sneakers. The house where the body was found appeared to be uninhabited, according to the authorities. The victim, whose identity has not been confirmed at this time, was wearing black shorts and a white shirt. No further details were offered about possible visible injuries or how long the body had been at the scene.

Police officers, along with personnel from the Institute of Forensic Sciences, went to the scene to remove the body and begin the corresponding investigation process. The authorities have not reported on any suspects or the possible motive for the event, while investigations continue to clarify the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
