Washington.- United States First Lady Melania Trump appeared this Wednesday accompanied by a humanoid robot at a summit held at the White House aimed at empowering children through education and technology.
Donald Trump's wife hosted a meeting with 45 other first ladies, including France's Brigitte Macron, and representatives from 28 technology companies to present her initiative 'Fostering the Future Together'.
Melania Trump surprised everyone by appearing at the event walking alongside an American-made humanoid robot, nicknamed Figure 3, as a symbol of the future that technology can have in education.
Figure 3, the first humanoid officially presented at the White House, welcomed the attendees with a few brief words in several languages and then withdrew from the room.

"The future of AI is personified: it will have a human form. Very soon, artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that will provide utility," he said.
The former Slovenian model chaired a round table with first ladies and representatives from France, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Panama, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Kosovo.
Upon taking the floor, Brigitte Macron praised the work of the American First Lady during Trump's first term against cyberbullying of minors and defended restricting the access of children and adolescents to screens and mobile phones.
The meeting at the White House was the second and final day of meetings in Washington between Melania Trump and the first ladies, following the one held on Tuesday at the State Department.
