Tel Aviv. – Engineer and Mobileye co-founder, Mois Navon, warned that technological innovation must be accompanied by regulatory frameworks and ethical principles that guarantee a true positive impact on society. Navon, who led the development of the EyeQ chip (the heart of driving assistance systems), explained that the mission of technology should not be limited to solving technical problems or generating economic benefits, but to improve people's quality of life. In that sense, he stressed that legislation and education play a key role in guiding its responsible use.

The expert pointed to the case of autonomous vehicles as an example, which in his opinion represent an opportunity to save millions of lives by reducing accidents caused by human error. However, he stressed that this potential will only be achieved if there is a "social contract" that combines innovation with shared values. Mobileye, a company founded in 1999 in Jerusalem and acquired by Intel in 2017 for more than 15 billion dollars, has positioned itself as a world leader in smart mobility. Navon insisted that advances in this sector and in any other technological area require clear rules that reward good use and punish abuse, with the ultimate goal of "making the world a better place".
