Paliza refuses to greet La Tora during accountability

Santo Domingo.– A moment of tension was recorded this Friday in the corridors of the National Congress, when the Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza, was approached by the communicator Claudia Pérez, popularly known as “La Tora”, during the arrival of officials to the National Assembly for the Accountability of President Luis Abinader.

The incident, which was captured on video and quickly circulated on social media, shows the moment when the communicator insistently requests that the official greet her. "Greet, greet, Paliza!", she is heard saying as the minister approaches the area. In the images, it is observed that Paliza greets other people present at the place and continues his journey, without establishing direct contact with the communicator, which generated immediate reactions on digital platforms and divided comments among users.

The event occurred in the context of the President's Accountability Report to the National Assembly, a solemn act in which the main achievements and goals of the Government are presented.
