A transfer in a luxurious helicopter published by Senator Rogelio Genao of La Vega province is being highly questioned by social media users.
The most frequent questions revolve around the owner of the helicopter, and who finances its use due to the high cost involved.
"To Moca to visit the bypass with the senator," says the video post shared by the senator and architect Luis Taveras.
Genao was recently involved in another controversy due to his stance on the figure of the "independent candidacy," which he believes should be eliminated because, according to him, it contradicts the Constitution of the Republic.
Genao questions the ruling that interprets the possibility of independent candidacies in the Dominican Republic, considering that this decision contradicts the constitutional order and could generate complications in the administration of the electoral system.
Circunvalación de Moca, is a work that is under construction and that will benefit users who transit between the provinces of Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná and the Duarte highway, avoiding passage through the urban center.
It has a total length of 10.20 kilometers, spanning from the Cruce de Cherro, in Espaillat province, to Licey in Santiago. The project covers three stages, Cruce de Chero-Estancia Nueva, Estancia Nueva- Licey al medio and finally, the Moca Road Circuit (Duarte-Mella street).
