Santo Domingo.– The most recent edition of Premios Soberano 2026 once again demonstrated its leadership as the most important artistic event in the Dominican Republic, by gathering more than 1.4 million people in front of the Color Visión screen, consolidating a new audience record nationwide. According to Exacta Digital Media Research, a Chilean firm specializing in the measurement of multiplatform audiences in Latin America - including television (rating) and digital media -, the gala achieved extraordinary figures. The company, which officially operates in markets such as the Dominican Republic and Guatemala and uses cutting-edge technology such as Audio Matching to offer precise data, certified through its Instagram account the reach obtained by the event. The report highlights that Premios Soberano 2026 registered an average rating of 660,000 viewers per minute, accompanied by more than 125 million accumulated views on different platforms, reaffirming the relevance of television as a powerful space for cultural gathering. In detail, the Red Carpet reached a rating of 2.93 and a share of 8.43%, with 343,774 people impacted. On Instagram, the broadcast achieved a rating of 8.39 and a share of 23.66%, reaching 750,094 users. For its part, the YouTube channel @PremiosSoberanoOficial registered 1,249,000 users connected via streaming, reflecting the growing digital consumption of the event. On social media, the results were equally outstanding. On Instagram, 13,782,246 views and 412,523 interactions were recorded. On the X platform, the event trended for more than 14 days, including 12 consecutive hours, generating 1.8 million "likes", 850,000 retweets, and 400,000 replies, representing 65% of the total traffic.On Facebook, 2.1 million "likes" and reactions, 600,000 comments, and 800,000 shares were reached. Meanwhile, on TikTok, the hashtag #PremiosSoberano accumulated 45 million views, 6.2 million "likes", 450,000 comments, and 300,000 shared content, also highlighting the "GRWM" (Get Ready With Me) trend.
Marivell Contreras, president of the organizing entity of Premios Soberano, the Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte) expressed that, with these results, the awards gala "not only exceeded all audience expectations, but also reaffirmed its positioning as the event with the greatest media impact in the Dominican Republic, which marks a new milestone in the history of the awards." The 41st edition of the Soberano Awards took place on March 18, 2026, at the Eduardo Brito National Theater in Santo Domingo. The event was broadcast nationally through Color Visión, while in the United States it was broadcast by Univision, the streaming platform ViX, and the institution's digital platforms. The production was in charge of César Suárez Jr., with the co-sponsorship of Cervecería Nacional Dominicana and BanReservas.
