Washington .- The Pentagon would be intensifying its plans for military intervention in Cuba, according to local media, although the War Department called for no speculation.
According to officials cited under condition of anonymity by the newspaper USA Today, the Pentagon would be refining plans on Cuba awaiting direct orders from US President Donald Trump. The War Department responded to EFE that it would not speculate on "hypothetical scenarios" and that the armed forces foresee various contingencies and "remain prepared to execute the president's orders."
