Spain. This is an innovative measure, called RefCam, agreed between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and LaLiga for this Saturday's final at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville, which will be extended to the league competition matches from the 22nd of next month, both entities report in a statement.

The RefCam consists of a device that offers the referee's direct view in real time during the match and incorporates audio, "which contributes to a greater understanding of refereeing decisions and provides a new level of transparency and closeness with the fans," the statement emphasizes. The Alberola Rojas camera will provide the television signal produced by RTVE "a closer, more immersive and completely innovative perspective of the development of the game" that will allow fans to "experience the excitement of football with an unprecedented level of immersion at the highest professional level," the note adds. This innovation will begin to be implemented in LaLiga in one match per matchday starting next week with the purpose of "reinforcing the competition's commitment to the evolution of the audiovisual experience of football". The previously scheduled matches in which there will be images from the referee's camera will be Betis-Real Madrid (matchday 32), Barcelona-Celta de Vigo (matchday 33), Valencia-Atlético de Madrid (matchday 34) and Barcelona-Real Madrid (matchday 35).
