Walker doubled in the eighth inning to maintain his offensive consistency, while Nathan Church had an outstanding performance with three hits and Alec Burleson drove in two key runs in St. Louis's victory. In the mound, Dustin May (2-2) worked six solid innings in which he allowed one run, six hits and struck out four batters, leading his team to their second consecutive victory. Despite the individual achievement, the Guardians couldn't avoid their second consecutive loss of the season, in a game where starting pitcher Slade Cecconi struggled with control, issuing five walks in four innings of work. With the triumph, San Luis continues to show positive signs in its offense, led by a Walker in great form, while Cleveland seeks to regain its rhythm after a solid start to the campaign.
