Miami.- The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, will participate virtually this Wednesday in an economic forum held in Miami, in which the President of the United States, Donald Trump, will speak next Friday.
According to EFE, organizers of the FII Priority forum in Miami Beach confirmed that Rodríguez will participate remotely in the event, which takes place between Wednesday and Friday, and will bring together global leaders from the economic and technological fields.
The meeting, focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and investments, brings together more than 1,000 business leaders and international figures, including the president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ilan Goldfajn, as well as senior executives and policymakers.
Finally, the forum will conclude on Friday with the participation of President Trump.
Rodriguez's intervention occurs amidst the complex relationship between Washington and Caracas following the military operation on January 3rd, in which US forces captured then-ruler Nicolás Maduro and transferred him to New York to face judicial charges.
