Bad Bunny and Austin Butler dazzle at exclusive premiere of “Caught Stealing” in Puerto Rico

Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.- With the stellar presence of the protagonists Austin Butler and Bad Bunny, on Thursday night, Puerto Rico became the venue for a high-profile film premiere with the exclusive presentation of “Caught Stealing”, the new action film directed by Darren Aronofsky. Although the official premiere is scheduled for August 29, a select group of guests had early access to the screening in the CXC room of Caribbean Cinemas in Plaza Guaynabo. During the event, which brought together film critics, content creators, and other entertainment personalities, attendees not only saw the film before its premiere, but also listened to brief speeches from the special guests.

"Caught Stealing" tells the story of Hank Thompson (Butler), a former baseball player who works as a bar clerk, has a fairly normal life that he shares with his sweetheart (Kravitz), until his 'punk-rock' neighbor, Russ (Matt Smith), asks him to look after his cat for a few days. This simple action changes Hank's life forever, as he finds himself trapped in a dangerous fight for his survival in the midst of the criminal underworld of the city of New York.

Bad Bunny, who plays a supporting character named Colorado, shared details about his role in the story. “My character (Colorado) moved to New York, to hustle, to make a living. And, you know, with the cunning and skill he learned on the streets of Puerto Rico, he's going to run businesses there in New York. So... Colorado, you know, is a ‘hp’, he's a tough guy”, the artist expressed with laughter, who is currently in the middle of his residency “I don't want to leave here”.

The singer also took the opportunity to thank those involved in the production for including him in the cast. "I hope you like my work. It was a great experience to be able to share and work with a director of the category and a great career like Darren. As well as being able to work with great actors like Austin Butler," said Benito Martínez Ocasio, the given name of the urban artist. Before concluding his remarks, Bad Bunny enthusiastically mentioned other figures who are also part of the cast, such as Regina King and Zoë Kravitz, and reiterated his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this film.
