INDOCAL rewards outstanding commitment to quality, excellence, and sustainability

Santo Domingo – The Dominican Institute for Quality (INDOCAL) announced the second edition of the INDOCAL Quality Award, which will take place this Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Embajador hotel. The main purpose of the event is to recognize organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to quality, excellence, and sustainability in their processes.

Considered the highest award granted by INDOCAL, the prize seeks to distinguish various entities, including governmental and private organizations, MSMEs, large companies, and international institutions with operations in the country. These entities must demonstrate their path to excellence by guaranteeing high-quality products and/or services through the appropriate and relevant use of the National Quality Infrastructure, which is integrated by Standardization, Metrology, and Conformity Assessment. In its 2025 edition, the INDOCAL Quality Award reaffirms its commitment to strengthen a national culture of excellence, efficiency, competitiveness, and trust, aligned with the country vision promoted by the Government of the Dominican Republic. The authorities of INDOCAL highlighted that this initiative seeks to promote the culture of quality in the national productive sector, motivating organizations to implement practices that strengthen their performance, sustainability, and competitiveness in both the local and international markets. Organizations that obtain an outstanding score will receive a distinctive certificate and will be promoted on INDOCAL's institutional platforms, publicly recognizing their effort and dedication to quality.
