Donald Trump posts image claiming to be "interim president of Venezuela"

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, posted an image on Truth Social this Sunday in which he claims to be the "interim president of Venezuela". The publication shows a digitally altered image that presented Trump in that role following the recent events in Venezuela. The image emerged amid the growing tension following the US military intervention in Venezuela.
The publication took place a week after the United States launched, on January 3, a massive military attack on Venezuelan territory that concluded with the arrest of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who were transferred to New York.
