They will perform electrical maintenance work that will affect traffic in SDE

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) reported that it will carry out preventive work this Saturday and tomorrow Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which "will impact" traffic on Fernández Domínguez and Charles de Gaulle avenues, in Santo Domingo Este. The state agency specified in a note that the works are part of its plan to strengthen the "security" and "reliability" of the national electricity system.

In that order, he said that the work will be carried out by the network maintenance personnel and will be executed on the 138 kV Villa Duarte-Hainamosa transmission line, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este. On Sunday, March 1st, the work will involve a temporary impact on traffic on Coronel Fernández Domínguez Avenue (San Isidro), specifically at the intersection with Charles de Gaulle Avenue and in the vicinity of the Coral Mall shopping center, due to the maneuvers that will be carried out in that area. The ETED stated that the works scheduled for this Saturday will be carried out without affecting the electricity supply, so the service will be maintained with "total normality" in the areas linked to this infrastructure. The company thanked the understanding of the citizens and drivers who travel on these roads, while reiterating that these actions are necessary to maintain the electrical infrastructure in optimal conditions and guarantee a safe, stable and efficient service for the entire population.
