Abinader dances merengue with students during graduation of the Opportunity 14-24 program

Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader had a relaxed moment during the graduation ceremony of the Oportunidad 14-24 program, dancing merengue with several students who were participating in an artistic presentation prepared for the event.

The scene took place in the midst of a cultural intervention organized by the graduating students themselves, who encouraged the president to join the dance. Amidst applause, music, and laughter, Abinader accepted the invitation and shared the moment with the students, generating enthusiasm among those present.

The event corresponded to the twelfth graduation of the program, in which 4,026 young people completed their technical training in different areas, after completing the training process aimed at facilitating their entry into the labor market or the continuation of their studies. The ceremony brought together authorities and families of the graduates, who celebrated the achievement with the young people. The moment of the dance became one of the most talked about of the day, symbolizing the joy and pride of the graduates upon concluding this stage of their training.
