Santo Domingo. — The participant of the reality show Planeta Alofoke, Aldo Farías, shared a moving personal story during the trip to an unknown destination in the program, moving his companions by talking about the special bond he had with his grandmother. During his participation, Farías recounted that he grew up without the constant presence of his mother and being an only child, so he found in his grandmother a key figure in his life. He explained that, after suffering a stroke, she remained in a delicate state of health for 23 years, during which time he dedicated himself to caring for her with love and dedication. The participant recounted that he was by her side at every moment, attending to her daily needs, helping her with her hygiene, combing her hair, and accompanying her in her process. "I was her favorite grandson," he expressed with nostalgia, highlighting that he also took her in her wheelchair to visit her friends, who were also facing similar health situations.

"She was the love of my life," Farías affirmed, recalling the moments shared with his grandmother, whom he identified as María de Jesús, who passed away today.
