Miriam Cruz bets on evolution with her album "Me Enamoré de Ti"

Santo Domingo, R.D. – More than a simple launch, the new album by Miriam Cruz is presented as a declaration of validity and transformation within merengue. “I Fell in Love with You” arrives as a production thought out in detail, where different musical cultures converge without losing the essence that has defined the artist's career. The project began with a wide call for composers from various Latin American countries, which allowed for the construction of a diverse repertoire from its origin. After a demanding selection process, the singer personally chose the songs that best connected with her artistic identity and with the message she wanted to convey in this new stage. In terms of sound, the album moves between the classical and the contemporary. Under the direction of producer Antonio González, merengue serves as the base, but opens up to different nuances, such as bachata and regional Mexican music, providing variety without falling into dispersion. These fusions give the album a broader projection, designed for audiences outside the traditional circuit of the genre. The repertoire includes songs like “Mi Dueño”, “Renuncio”, “Déjame Libre” and the song that gives the album its name, pieces that explore emotions such as love, relief, and independence. Alternate versions are also integrated, reinforcing the project's versatility and its intention to connect with different audiences.

With this release, Miriam Cruz not only revisits her essence, but also expands it towards new musical territories.
