Bad Bunny joins the cast of Toy Story 5

Puerto Rico.- Bad Bunny's next adventure will not be on a stage or in front of a crowd singing “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”. This time, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio will arrive in the Pixar universe. The Puerto Rican artist will join the voice cast of Toy Story 5 with a cameo playing Pizza with Glasses, a new character described as mysterious and with a "cool" personality, who will be part of a small community of forgotten toys in a backyard. In addition, he will lend his voice for both the English and Spanish versions of the film. The new installment of the franchise will once again bring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the group, who will face a new challenge with the arrival of Lilypad, a smart tablet that will try to change the way Bonnie interacts and makes friends. The film will arrive in theaters on June 17. Participation marks a new step for Bad Bunny within a facet that has gradually ceased to be a curiosity to become a parallel career to music: cinema. It also represents his first foray into an animated film. Although for years the industry identified him exclusively as an urban music star, Benito has been building his own path in Hollywood.

His first participation in a major film franchise came with F9: The Fast Saga, where he made an appearance within the Fast & Furious universe. He was also part of Caught Stealing, a production directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Austin Butler. What began with occasional appearances seems to be turning into an increasingly frequent presence on the big screen. And now, among cowboys, astronauts, and forgotten toys, Bad Bunny adds another unexpected territory to his career: Pixar.
