Santo Domingo. – The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, announced this Tuesday that the airline Air France will resume its operations to Punta Cana during the winter season of 2026, with a schedule that includes three weekly flights from Paris, thus strengthening the recovery of the French market in the Dominican Republic.

This direct connection from the Gallic capital to one of the most emblematic tourist destinations in the Caribbean responds to the growing demand of the French market for the Dominican Republic, and is part of the sustained efforts of the Ministry of Tourism to diversify the arrival of international visitors. The reopening of this route will also have a positive impact on the local economy, by boosting the hotel, gastronomy, and tourism services sectors in the East region of the country.“With each initiative, we are regaining the French market!”, Collado expressed through his social media, celebrating the decision of the French flag airline.
