Azua.- The communicator Cristian Daniel Ramírez was sworn in as the new general secretary of the National Union of Press Workers (SNTP), Azua branch, for the period 2025-2027, in an act headed by the provincial governor, María Minerva Navarro.

During the event, a posthumous tribute was paid to the journalist Juan Andújar, recognized for his commitment to journalism and his professional courage. In her speech, Governor Navarro valued the role of a strong union committed to the dignification of press workers, and called on young communicators to join the guild to contribute to the strengthening of journalism in Azua.
