Governor and local authorities accompany the director of Propeep at the inauguration of the Paseo de Colores in Azua

Azua. – The provincial governor and various local authorities accompanied this Sunday the director of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), Robert Polanco, in the inauguration of the Paseo de Colores, a cultural and community project that seeks to strengthen the identity and sense of belonging of the people of Azua. The event took place in the head municipality, where the artistic interventions carried out at the El Buen Pastor Educational Center and the Nuestra Señora de los Remedios Church were presented. The works, created by local and national artists, pay homage to great educators and personalities of the province, while highlighting the flora, fauna, and religious traditions of the community.

The project coordination was in charge of the cultural manager Tony Then, who, along with a team of muralists, transformed the city's walls into expressions of art and collective pride. During the ceremony, Polanco highlighted the importance of promoting initiatives that strengthen culture and education throughout the country. Likewise, local authorities agreed in pointing out that this type of intervention positively impacts community life, fostering the roots and projection of the cultural identity of Azua.
