Puerto Plata.– The disappearance of the girl Brianna Genao Rosario, barely three years old, continues to be shrouded in uncertainty, while neighbors and family members try to reconstruct the last moments she was seen in the community of Barrero, municipality of Imbert, province of Puerto Plata.
David Rosario, neighbor and close friend of the family, recounted that the minor was playing with other children in the family environment on the afternoon of December 31, when the disappearance occurred. According to what he explained, the girl went up a ladder while her grandmother remained seated in the place and, shortly after, a niece of Gisela, the minor's grandmother, took her momentarily towards the house. You may be interested in: http://Grandfather of missing girl in Imbert arrives from the US and maintains hope of finding her alive
"It was just a little while. Then they went to look for her and she was gone. Nobody moved from the spot and, even so, when we realized it, the girl wasn't there," Rosario narrated. He indicated that, upon realizing the absence of the minor, family members and community members immediately initiated a search of the area, without achieving results or finding clear indications of what happened. He assured that nothing strange was observed nor the presence of people outside the community at that time. "This has been something very mysterious, something that had never happened here. Everyone present was from the same community, sharing as a family," expressed the neighbor, visibly dismayed. Rosario specified that the disappearance occurred around 5:20 in the afternoon, while the girl was playing with other children, including her nephews who reside in Santiago. Meanwhile, relief organizations and authorities are keeping the search operations active in the area, amid the anguish of the families and the solidarity of the residents of Barrero, who are awaiting answers about the whereabouts of little Brianna Genao Rosario.
