Santo Domingo.- The Public Ministry requests a coercive measure consisting of preventive detention against Jean Andrés Pumarol, accused of murdering a woman and injuring five people last Tuesday, in a condominium in the Naco sector.
The hearing originally scheduled for Friday was rescheduled by Judge Rigoberto Sena in order to guarantee the transfer of the defendant to the court, as he was admitted to a health center. Pumarol broke into several apartments in the residential complex Naco Dorado IV, where he assaulted several residents. Among the victims is Yolanda Handal Abugabir, who died as a result of the attack. Also injured were Gricelda Ozuna Torres, Francisco Texano, Teresa Fabián de Heredia, Victoria Heredia and Guillermo Ramón Pumarol Castellanos, father of the accused.Preventive prison is requested for Jean Andrés Pumarol for homicide and assaults in Naco condominium
