Public Ministry tracks IP of origin of rape video in Villa González

At the request of the Public Ministry, the precedent was created to eliminate all images of the victims from any platform
 
Santo Domingo.- The Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the Public Ministry of Santiago, will issue legal actions against those responsible for disseminating images of the rape victim in Villa González through social networks or other digital platforms. Judge Yerixa Cabral de la Cruz authorized the Forensic Informatics Department of the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) and the Department of Investigation of High Technology Crimes and Offenses (Dicat), of the National Police, to identify the IP address of the phone that served as the origin for the first dissemination of the audiovisuals that record the sexual violence against the victim, as well as the internet user. In addition, preventive detention for 18 months was imposed as a coercive measure against six men accused of committing the group sexual assault against a young woman, and the complex processing process was declared.
