Montecristi.- In operations carried out in different locations in the provinces of Montecristi and Dajabón, 35 undocumented migrants were arrested by members of the Dominican Republic Army.
A group of 26 Haitian nationals in irregular migratory condition was intercepted by members of the ERD stationed for service at the Santa María Detachment. Undocumented foreigners, including (20) men, (04) women, and (02) minors, were transferred to the San Fernando Fortress in Montecristi. Other 09 undocumented immigrants were arrested by the ERD patrols in Dajabón In the Aminilla community of Dajabón, an Army patrol stopped 09 Haitian nationals with irregular migratory status, of whom 07 are men and 02 are women, who were trying to evade military surveillance in the area. Both groups of undocumented foreigners detained in Dajabón and Montecristi will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration for the repatriation process.Two groups of undocumented migrants were intercepted in Dajabón and Montecristi
