Madrid.- The Madrid night dressed up last night to host the world premiere of Ozuna and Beele’s album “Stendhal”. Multiple celebrities from the world of culture, music, arts and society gathered at the Florida Park in Madrid to accompany the two stars of the urban genre in the launch of this joint project.
A packed venue cheered the successes of their new work, from the catchy “Enemigos” to “Pikito”, the soccer anthem “Alé” and closing with “Te Culié” which contains a sampler of the mythical song “Aserejé”. It was at that moment that they had the presence of the mythical group “Las Ketchup”, original performers of the song, who joined them on stage to accompany them during their performance.
Many celebrities from Spanish society such as Rocío Flores, Gloria Camila or Jessica Bueno, as well as influencers and content creators were present at the event.
Thus, the award-winning Puerto Rican star Ozuna and the sensation of the moment in the Colombian urban movement, Bélé, celebrate today the official release of STENDHAL, their first collaborative album: a 14-song project that consolidates their artistic connection and marks a new creative stage for both.
The album, now available on all digital platforms, presents a vibrant sound proposal, built on afrobeats rhythms, Afro-Caribbean influences, world music influences, and both the essence and modern variations within the Latin urban genre, delivering an innovative proposal that connects both globally and emotionally. Accompanied by high-level production and a narrative loaded with sensoriality and emotion, the concept of the album is inspired by the so-called Stendhal Syndrome, where art deeply impacts the senses and perception.
During the creative process, Ozuna and Beéle incorporated touches inspired by great hits of Latin popular music, integrating them in a fresh and organic way within the sound universe of the album. Among these influences are: “Ale”, which includes elements inspired by the emblematic merengue “Carnaval (Baile en la Calle)” by Fernando Villalona; “Enemigos”, together with Ovy on the Drums, which reinterprets elements of the iconic bachata hit “Los Infieles” by Aventura; the lively and catchy “Te Culié”, which integrates a touch inspired by the global phenomenon “Aserejé” by Las Ketchup, providing a playful and culturally recognizable nuance; and “Antes de Irme”, which presents a melodic touch inspired by the children’s-pop classic “Ilarié” by Xuxa. These inspired touches function as subtle tributes that amplify the cultural richness of the album without detracting from its modernity or originality.
Recorded primarily between February and April 2025, STENDHAL brings together a prominent creative cast that includes producers such as Flambo, Ovy On The Drums, Legazzy, Yazid, Dynell, Golden, Daramola, Hake, and Ríos. In the composition, in addition to Ozuna and Beéle, names such as Diego León Vélez, Edwin José Collazos de la Hoz, Andrés Jael Correa Ríos, Zaider, Daniel Guerrero Ramos, Yazid Rivera López, Joan M. Ubinas, among others, stand out. The engineering of the project was in charge of Roberto “Mr. Earcandy” Vázquez, Mosty, Ricardo Sangiao and the award-winning international engineer Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young.
The collaboration between Ozuna and Beéle arose from a deeply creative process, based on experimentation, artistic freedom, and a natural interaction between the two. The result is an authentic, emotional, and global sound, where their styles converge organically without losing their own identity.
“This project was born from a real connection in the studio. With Beéle it was easy to build something different, playing with sounds, roots and emotions. STENDHAL is a journey we took together to give people music that can be felt,” expressed Ozuna.
While Beéle added: “Working with Ozuna was a natural and creative experience. Each song came out from the vibe of the moment, mixing our influences and what we wanted to express. We want everyone to feel the energy and heart we put into this album.”
