Washington, May 18 (EFE).- Former U.S. President Joe Biden (2021-2025) was diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to a statement released by his office and published by CNN.
According to the note, the 82-year-old Democratic politician was examined last week for a prostate nodule and was found to have cancer.
Despite being a more aggressive form of the disease, doctors noted that the tumor responds to hormonal therapy, which opens the possibility of effective treatment.
The president and his family are analyzing the different therapeutic alternatives available with the doctors. EFE
