Quarterfinals defined in the 2026 World Baseball Classic

SANTO DOMINGO. The 2026 World Baseball Classic has already defined the quarter-final matchups, after the group stage of the tournament, which is being held in different international venues and brings together the main powers of world baseball, has concluded.

The eight teams that advanced to the knockout round will now seek their ticket to the semifinals in a stage where every game is life or death. Among the most anticipated duels is the clash between Dominican Republic and South Korea, in a match that promises great intensity between two teams with Major League talent and international experience.

The official quarter-final pairings were established as follows:
