Pittsburgh.– The Pittsburgh Steelers reported this Thursday that their defensive star, Trent Jordan (TJ) Watt, was hospitalized after presenting a lung injury during the team's training activities.

“TJ Watt is currently at a local hospital for a medical evaluation of his lung after experiencing discomfort at the training facilities. Coach Mike Tomlin will offer more details in due course,” the franchise said in a statement. Watt, 31, has been one of the pillars of Pittsburgh's defense since his arrival in the first round of the 2017 Draft. Since his rookie season, the linebacker from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, has accumulated seven Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro designations. The player shares with Michael Strahan the record for most sacks in a season, with 22.5, solidifying himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL.This season he has 53 tackles and seven sacks in 13 games.
