A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded on Wednesday night 40 kilometers east of the city of La Crucecita (Oaxaca, Mexico), reported the National Seismological Service on the social network X. The hypocenter of the tremor was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
For its part, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.3, that its epicenter was located 1 kilometer west of the town of El Morro and at a depth of 62.6 km.
