Bavaro. - The Golf Association of the Province of La Altagracia (AGLA), once again lifted the champions' cup in the XI edition of the Interassociations Tournament, an event that brought together the nine associations that make up the Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf), and which was sponsored by Mastercard Banreservas.
AGLA narrowly defeated the defending champions of the Province of Santiago (Sagolf), 86 to 85.75 points. The Association of the Province of La Vega (LVGA) came in third with 73 points.
At an individual level, Juan Carlos Perelló, from Sagolf, won category A with the best score of the tournament, delivering a scorecard with an impressive 68 strokes, 4 under par.

The AA category was dominated by Alejandro Morales, a member of the La Romana Golf Association (Asoglar), with a score of 73 strokes. Luis Fernández, from Sagolf, was the best in category B with 75 strokes, winning in a tiebreaker by card. With a score of 79 strokes, Dávide Varacalli (Asoglar) surpassed everyone in category C, while Juan Taveras, from the Golf Association of Puerto Plata Province, was the winner of Senior A with 74 strokes, also breaking the tie by card. Julio Cross, from the Golf Association of the Province of San Pedro de Macorís, won in the Senior B category with a final score of 73. Ekaterina Riansetseva (AGLA) with 42 points and Shanel Rodríguez (Agopro) with 73 strokes, won the Ladies B and A categories, respectively. Prior to the start of the competitions, Enrique Valverde, president of Fedogolf, presented a recognition plaque to Punta Blanca Golf Course, received by Mr. Antonio Ramis, general director of Grupo Punta Blanca and by its golf director, Tomás Mercedes. Franklin Díaz, division manager at Mastercard Banreservas, addressed the golfers present and reminded them of the multiple benefits that their credit cards offer to players. The XI Inter-Associations Tournament was supported by La Famosa, United Brands and Casa Brugal.
