He was sworn in today by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Joel Santos.
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) informed that it formally received its new general administrator, electrical engineer Alfonso Rodríguez Tejada, appointed by Decree 653-25, issued by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader. The swearing-in was conducted by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Joel Santos.Upon assuming his new duties at ETED, Rodríguez Tejada stated that, “it is an honor to lead this strategic institution for the country. The commitment is to continue the process of modernizing the network, strengthen the operational security of the system, and ensure that each project responds to the national goals of energy development”.
Also, he affirmed that he will continue the 2024-2035 Expansion Plan, which identifies priority works on lines and substations to guarantee the stability, efficiency, and future capacity of the National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI).Rodríguez Tejada reiterated his focus on service quality, transparency, and social responsibility, stating that, “ETED will continue to be a technical reference and an essential ally in the energy progress of the Dominican Republic”.
