The FBI and Utah state authorities have released the video of Charlie Kirk's killer fleeing the scene after Wednesday's deadly shooting.
The subject jumped off the roof, ran towards the nearby parking lot, and continued on his way at an accelerated pace. He was wearing sneakers, a t-shirt with an eagle, and a baseball cap.
The FBI has stated that it received more than 7,000 tips about the main suspect responsible for the death of the right-wing activist during his participation in a public event at Utah Valley University. Along with local law enforcement, agents have conducted more than 200 interrogations.
Following the attack, Kirk, 31, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A single shot was heard, and the activist was seen raising his right hand while a large amount of blood gushed from the left side of his neck. The Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack and assume the attacker fired from the roof of a nearby building.
