Grupo Viamar presents the new Ford Territory 2026

Santo Domingo. – Grupo Viamar, exclusive representative of Ford, presented the renewed Territory 2026. This family SUV not only maintains its leadership as a phenomenon of preference at the regional level since its debut in 2020, but it arrives to energize it. The Territory 2026 elevates its promise of connectivity, comfort and capacity, strengthening its dominant position in the saturated SUV segment, thanks to first-class equipment and its dynamic pricing policy. This evolution of the brand's best-seller focuses on offering users even more of what they already appreciate: advanced technology and smart features designed to provide maximum convenience on daily urban commutes or during a weekend getaway. Territory offers its proven 1.8-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost® engine, generating 187 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque1; in three versions, Ambiente, Trend and Titanium. As a novelty, a hybrid version is presented with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, incorporating an electric motor and a 1.8 kWh battery, which raises the combined maximum power to 180 kW.

Its two-speed hybrid transmission provides optimal power integration between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. Territory Hybrid has several propulsion modes to maximize fuel efficiency. These include EV Driving, Parallel Boost, and Series.

On the other hand, Territory stands out with a new and dynamic front, enhanced by a redesigned bumper and grille, full LED headlights and taillights. Two new color options, Cactus Grey and Oasis Green, add a sophisticated and premium touch to the range. Inside, comfort takes center stage. The seats offer wider headrests, additional padding, and greater support. Its generous 448-liter2 trunk expands to 1,422 liters2 with the rear seats folded; the front passengers' shoulder room is class-leading, and it has ample legroom in the back. Its large panoramic sunroof available adds spaciousness, clarity, and a feeling of freedom. Ford has also improved the infotainment system with a redesigned dual 12.3-inch touchscreen, which allows easier access to vehicle information. Drivers can now easily switch between full-screen projection of Apple CarPlay®4 or Android Auto™5 and a split-screen layout, which includes easy access to climate controls, displayed in a bar at the bottom of the screen. USB and Type-C ports have been added both at the front and at the back, so that devices can be charged more quickly. Safety remains a top priority for Ford, the 2026 Territory is equipped with a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems6, with features such as: · The lane change warning, which is activated from 60 km/h to alert drivers if they unintentionally deviate from their lane7. · The lane keeping assist, which guides the vehicle back into its lane when necessary7. · Lane centering control is a new addition, which actively works to keep the vehicle centered in its lane, providing greater confidence on the road7. · 360° camera that offers a wide front, rear, and side view8.
