Job fair with almost 7 thousand vacancies scheduled for today was postponed until further notice

The Ministry of Labor announced the postponement of the "Your job is here" day scheduled for this Wednesday 22nd, due to the incidents on the national territory of Storm Melissa.

The institution will inform later, through the corresponding channels and its social media, the date on which the activity will take place at the UNICARIBE Convention Center, on the Malecón of Santo Domingo.

In the National Employment Day, 64 companies from various sectors will participate, such as: hotel, industrial and service, which will seek to fill the positions of 6,811 vacancies.

Eddy Olivares, Minister of Labor, thanked in advance the understanding, support and constant willingness of the participating companies, to promote employment opportunities, through this space.

The Ministry of Labor urges people to remain attentive to the indications of the Emergency Operations Center (COE), which maintains a red alert for Greater Santo Domingo (including the National District), San Cristóbal, Peravia (Baní), Azua, Barahona, Pedernales, San José de Ocoa, and San Juan de la Maguana; as well as a possible extension of the alert to other provinces, according to the evolution of the atmospheric phenomenon.
