Santo Domingo. – The Superintendent of Insurance, Julio César Valentín, stated that Carolina Mejía is a public servant whom he considers a benchmark for both the country and the Latin American region.
"In my opinion, Carolina Mejía is an example of a competent public official, an extraordinary mayor, a benchmark not only for the country, but for the region, for all of Latin America and the Caribbean," she stated.
The veteran politician described Carolina as a leader with an approachable personality and great vision. "But above all, with a character that makes her drive changes, efforts for a better city," he added.
“In my opinion, he has done an extraordinary job,” Valentín pointed out, also noting that the city of Santo Domingo is a model in the Dominican Republic.
